The green marker starts facing up. Commands appear on screen one at a time: AHEAD · RIGHT AHEAD · LEFT AHEAD · BACK AHEAD. They are not absolute directions — each turn is relative to the way the marker is currently facing. Once the commands disappear, four paths appear; only one takes the green marker to the red target. Try it with the module’s own Start button — no sign-up needed.
PEGASUS CASE
Spatial Worm 2D Test
Prepare specifically for the Spatial Worm 2D module of the CASE test battery Pegasus Airlines uses to assess pilot candidates. Hold the AHEAD · RIGHT AHEAD · LEFT AHEAD · BACK AHEAD commands shown on screen in mind; once they disappear, pick which of the four paths takes the green marker to the red target — at the pace of a 30-round exam.

One anchor.
Four commands.
The green marker starts every round facing up — that is your anchor. Commands are not absolute directions; each is relative to the way the marker is currently facing: while facing north, RIGHT AHEAD sends it east; while facing east, it sends it south. Once the commands clear, four paths appear; only one takes the green marker to the red target.
Direction — Commands Are Relative to Your Heading
The green marker starts each round facing up (north). AHEAD moves it one step along its current heading; RIGHT AHEAD turns it right first, then moves it. The turn is relative to the marker’s own heading: facing north, right is east; facing east, right is south. BACK AHEAD reverses it and moves — which is why the same command sends you a different way depending on where in the sequence it arrives.
Thirty rounds.
One score.
Spatial Worm 2D does not only score the right panel. Holding the command sequence, converting each turn relative to your own heading, and keeping that up as the sequences get longer are assessed together; the score combines accuracy and reaction time.
5–15 commands, one chain.
You must carry the whole sequence after it leaves the screen.
“Right” means a different way each round.
Turns are relative to the marker’s heading, never absolute.
Four paths, one correct.
You apply the sequence across four panels and rule the wrong ones out.
Speed counts as much as accuracy.
How fast you decide is recorded separately for every round.
Let every session write your next study plan.
Every Spatial Worm 2D session you finish is broken down automatically. See more than the right–wrong ratio: how your accuracy moves as the command count grows, how quickly you decide, and whether you hold your pace through the final rounds.
Decision time and speed
Decision time per round, the session average and your fastest correct answer.
Accuracy and error behaviour
Right–wrong ratio and which round band your errors cluster in; whether accuracy drops on long sequences.
Grid size and endurance
How accuracy and timing shift across small, medium and large grid rounds, and whether the final rounds sag.
Progress and guidance

What is the Spatial Worm 2D test?
Spatial Worm 2D is a spatial orientation test that asks you to hold a set of direction commands in mind and apply them to a path. After the commands disappear you are shown four paths and pick the one that takes the green marker to the red target. It measures working memory, egocentric direction reasoning and sound decisions under time pressure.
What is the CASE test and how does Spatial Worm 2D fit in?
CASE is the name of the psychometric test battery Pegasus Airlines applies to pilot candidates. Spatial Worm 2D is one of the spatial orientation modules within it. This page prepares you for the Spatial Worm 2D module; the other modules are listed in the Pegasus CASE modules section below.
How are the commands delivered?
Commands appear on screen as text, one at a time: AHEAD, RIGHT AHEAD, LEFT AHEAD and BACK AHEAD. Once the sequence finishes the commands clear from the screen — only then are the four paths shown. So you cannot choose while reading the commands, and cannot read them while choosing.
Relative to what direction do the commands work?
To the way the marker is currently facing. The green marker starts every round facing up. RIGHT AHEAD sends it east while it faces north, and south while it faces east. That is why the same command leads somewhere different depending on where in the sequence it appears — memorising absolute directions does not work.
How many rounds are there and how does difficulty scale?
Exam mode runs 30 rounds. Rounds 1-10 use a small grid with 5-7 commands; 11-20 move to a medium grid with 7-9; 21-30 reach a large grid with 9-15. The sequence lengthens and the grid grows together, so memory load and scanning area rise at the same time.
How do I find the right path faster?
Eliminating the wrong ones is usually faster than solving for the right one. The first command or two often halves the field: whichever way the green marker opens, panels with no path that way are out immediately. You then split the remaining two with the last command.
Can I use pen and paper?
What the task measures is carrying the sequence in your head and applying it. Getting used to writing it down will not survive real exam pace — the commands stay on screen for a limited time, and while you write you miss the next one.
What skills does Spatial Worm 2D measure?
Visual working memory, egocentric (self-relative) direction reasoning, spatial scanning and elimination, sustained attention and decision-making under time pressure — assessed together.
Is there statistics and performance tracking?
Yes. At the end of a session you get total rounds and questions, right–wrong ratio, per-round and average decision time, your longest error-free run and performance consistency, along with a progress chart and a personalised study suggestion.
Is there a sample / practice run for the Pegasus psychometric test?
The interactive demo on this page is the module itself — you can try it without signing up. PRO access then unlocks the 30-round exam mode, every difficulty band and the performance report.
How do I get access after purchase?
After payment the module is added to your account and opens straight from your course page. Access lasts 30, 90 or 365 days depending on the plan you choose.
Is CADETPRO an official airline product?
No. CADETPRO is an independent preparation platform with no affiliation, partnership or endorsement from any airline. Airline and test names on this page are used only in a preparation context, to indicate which exam is being studied for. No guarantee of passing or being hired is given.
