The ball moves clockwise, one segment at a time. The moment its direction, shape, speed or colour changes, press the button for that change. Try it with the module's own Start button — no sign-up required.
PEGASUS CASE
VIGI 2 Test
Prepare specifically for the VIGI 2 module of the CASE test battery Pegasus Airlines uses to evaluate first-officer candidates. Catch the direction, shape, speed and colour changes of the ball moving around a 40-segment circular arena, and train your sustained attention and reaction speed in the 12-minute exam format.

One ball.
Four changes.
The arena is divided into 40 segments, numbered clockwise from 1 to 40. The ball normally advances one segment per step in the clockwise direction; this pattern can break without warning in four different ways.
Direction Change — When the Ball Reverses
Under normal conditions the ball travels clockwise and moves one segment per step (1 to 2, then 3). During the test it can suddenly reverse and start moving anticlockwise. When that happens you are expected to press the designated button quickly to show you noticed the direction change.
Four parameters.
One score.
VIGI 2 does not measure speed alone. Tracking the ball’s direction, shape, speed and colour at the same time, holding that attention for 12 minutes and responding correctly to each change are all assessed together.
12 minutes of unbroken tracking.
Even while the ball advances steadily, you keep your attention up and wait for the change.
Shape and colour at once.
You notice the round-to-square switch and the colour change without any warning.
Measured per change type.
How fast you hit the right button is recorded separately for each type of change.
Four rules interleaved.
You switch between parameters and respond without mixing the rules up.
Let every session shape your next practice plan.
Every VIGI 2 session you complete is automatically broken down into a detailed psychometric analysis. See more than a correct/incorrect ratio: which type of change you slowed down on, which one you missed, and where in the 12 minutes your attention dropped.
Reaction time and speed
Mean, median, P50–P95 distribution and speed trend, separately for each of the four change types.
Accuracy and error behaviour
Correct/incorrect ratio, missed changes and false alarms — separately for direction, shape, speed and colour.
Attention and fatigue
Lapse detection across the 12 minutes, Q1–Q4 vigilance decline, fatigue curve and recovery.
Pilot profile and progress
D-prime, inhibition, percentile ranking, radar profile and expert guidance.
Rated a perfect 5.00 by 464 pilot candidates.

info@cadetpro.com →What is the VIGI 2 test?
VIGI 2 is a professional vigilance test that measures a pilot candidate's sustained attention, perceptual awareness and speed of response to sudden changes. It has a dynamic, multi-stimulus structure and is used by Pegasus Airlines to assess the cognitive readiness of first-officer candidates.
What is the CASE test and how does VIGI 2 fit in?
CASE is the name of the psychometric test battery Pegasus Airlines applies to pilot candidates — the Pegasus counterpart of THY’s PACE battery. VIGI 2 is one of the modules within it. This page prepares you for the VIGI 2 module; the other modules in the battery are listed in the Pegasus CASE modules section below.
How long does the VIGI 2 test take?
The test runs for 12 minutes in total. Throughout that time you are expected to hold your attention level and respond correctly to every change.
What does the test environment look like?
The screen shows a circular arena divided into 40 segments, numbered clockwise from 1 to 40. A marker representing a ball moves around this circle according to set rules and, under normal conditions, advances one segment per step in the clockwise direction.
What is tracked in the VIGI 2 test?
You track several parameters at once: movement direction and direction change, shape transformation, speed increase and colour change. Each change requires a fast, correct press of the matching button.
What exactly are the direction, shape, speed and colour changes?
In a direction change the ball suddenly starts moving anticlockwise. In a shape change the initially round ball turns into a square without warning. In a speed change it jumps two segments instead of one — for example from 3 straight to 5. In a colour change the ball changes colour at random moments.
Which skills does VIGI 2 measure?
The test measures sustained attention, fast decision-making, visual perception, reaction time, cognitive flexibility and situational awareness — skills that matter in a flight deck.
Is VIGI 2 similar to the exam format?
Yes. VIGI 2 is designed in line with the logic of the vigilance tests used in airline pilot selection, and it simulates the multitasking and rapid decision-making scenarios first officers meet in real flight operations.
Are statistics and performance tracking included?
Yes. At the end of the test you see correct/incorrect ratios, reaction times and your overall performance in detail.
Are there sample / practice sessions for the Pegasus psychometric test?
Yes. For candidates looking for Pegasus pilot test examples, this module offers unlimited practice in VIGI 2 format; you train the circular arena in the real exam flow and see your accuracy, reaction time and attention curve after every session.
How do I get access after purchase?
Once payment is completed the course is assigned to your account. With no download required, you can open the module from your CADETPRO account and start practising.
Is CADETPRO an official product of an airline?
No. CADETPRO is an independent preparation platform; it is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any airline or assessment provider.
