Both tasks run together throughout the test: the gap between the dial and the digital value is monitored, and a triple repeat is caught among the sounds in the headset. The gaps are often very small.

The gap is often very small; even a one-step drift counts. In this teaching demo the needle is deliberately slowed — at exam speed such a drift is easy to miss.
VIGI does not measure speed alone. Seeing the small gap on the dial, hearing the triple repeat in the sounds and sustaining both tasks at once are all assessed together.
