MULTITASKING CAPABILITY · ARROWS, SUMS, DIGITS · 5 MINUTES

APTITUDE TESTS
Multitasking Capability

Three tasks side by side for five minutes, all answered with on-screen buttons. On the left, five tiles: four shapes and one arrow — press its direction within eight seconds. Top right, a four-number sum with an answer: Correct or Wrong. Bottom right, seven digits: Duplicate or No duplicate. Every answer counts and nothing waits for you.

MULTITASKING CAPABILITY / REAL MODULE SCREENS 4 screens
How it works

Three tasks, three clocks of their own. The arrow task has an eight-second window per question; the sum and the digits have none, but the test clock never stops. In practice any mistake — including an arrow that runs out of time — pauses all three tasks and explains it. In the test nothing is explained.

The set has 15.

Aon-style batteries rarely stop at a single task: candidates commonly report several short tests in one sitting. Preparing for one module leaves the rest untouched — the bundle opens every one of them, on one account.

Module logic

Count what you get right.
Not what you get wrong.

This module rewards volume as well as accuracy, and that changes how it should be played. The three steps below explain why.

STEP 01

Three tasks, one screen

The left task shows five tiles — four shapes and one arrow — and you press the button for the arrow’s direction within eight seconds. The top-right task is a four-number sum of numbers from 1 to 20 with an answer: Correct or Wrong. The bottom-right task shows seven digits from 0 to 9: Duplicate if any digit appears twice, No duplicate if not. Each new question fades in, and the next arrives about a second after you answer.

What it measures

Three streams.
Kept at speed.

The task measures how much correct work you can produce while three small problems compete for your attention — with one of them on an eight-second clock.

01 / THROUGHPUT

Volume and accuracy, together.

Each task counts correct answers against a fixed target. A careful candidate who answers too little scores low; a fast one who guesses scores low too. The score sits where speed and accuracy meet.

02 / SEARCH

Find the arrow.

Four shapes and one arrow; eight seconds to name its direction.

03 / ARITHMETIC

Judge the sum.

Four numbers from 1 to 20, added and subtracted in order.

04 / COMPARISON

Spot the repeat.

Seven digits, at most one pair.

Included with PRO

Let every test run write your next study plan.

Every TEST run you finish is analysed automatically. The useful part is not the single score — it is seeing whether speed or accuracy is what holds you back, and whether the next run is actually better than the last.

01

Accuracy and pace

Every TEST run is broken down into what you got right and how fast you worked — answers per minute and time per answer — so you can see whether speed or accuracy is the thing holding the score back.

02

Score trend across runs

Your runs are kept, so the report shows whether you are actually improving and compares your latest run with the earlier ones. On the multitasking modules and Grid Challenge it also breaks the result down task by task.

03

How you compare

The PRO report places your result among other CadetPro candidates on the same module, which is a more honest yardstick than a raw score on its own.

04

Consistency, error balance and study notes

How steady you are from run to run, where your errors cluster, and short study notes written for that pattern — the part of the report that tells you what to practise next.

What these tests are and how to prepare:

Aon-style aptitude tests guide →
What is the Multitasking Capability test?

Three tasks at once for five minutes: name the direction of the one arrow among four shapes within eight seconds, judge a four-number sum Correct or Wrong, and say whether a row of seven digits contains a duplicate. All answers are given with on-screen buttons.

How is it scored?

Each task counts your correct answers against its own fixed target and the three task scores are averaged. Because correct answers count rather than a percentage, keeping all three tasks moving matters as much as being accurate.

How is it different from the Multitasking module?

Multitasking includes a steering task — a plane flown through gaps — and scores accuracy against coverage. Multitasking Capability replaces the steering with an arrow-search task on an eight-second window and a digit-duplicate task, and scores correct answers against fixed targets.

Is there a keyboard?

No. Every answer is an on-screen button, so the module works the same with a mouse, a touchpad or a touchscreen.

Is practice mode free?

Yes. PRACTICE mode needs no purchase: open the module from a free CadetPro account. It has no clock and no score, and it explains your mistakes. The timed TEST mode and the full performance report are part of PRO.

What does PRO add?

The TEST mode, which recreates exam conditions with the real clock and the scoring described above, and a performance report for every TEST run — accuracy, pace and your score trend across runs, with deeper analysis on top.

Where are tests like this used?

Aon-style aptitude batteries (the cut-e family of short online tests) are commonly reported by candidates in pilot selection at flight schools and airlines — FTE Jerez, OSM Aviation Academy, Jet2, flynas and Wizz Air are among the names that come up in candidate reports. Which tests are used, and how, differs by employer and intake and changes over time, so always go by the invitation you receive.

Is this the official Aon or cut-e test?

No. CadetPro is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with Aon, cut-e or any airline or flight school. Our modules are original builds modelled on publicly described task types; they are not copies of any official test, and practising here does not guarantee any result in a selection process.
