You get a 4×4 or 5×5 grid of symbols. Some cells are filled, some are empty, and exactly one holds a question mark. There is a single rule: every symbol appears once in each row and once in each column. Work out which symbol belongs in the question mark and pick it from the strip below the grid — one click and it is final, with no confirm and no undo. Six minutes, and a new puzzle after every answer.
You are looking at one test.
The academy runs 19.
Wizz Air Pilot Academy screens across the whole Aon and TestAir360 set. Preparing for a single module leaves the rest untouched — the bundle opens every one of them, on one account.
- Every Aon reasoning module and the full TestAir360 battery
- Same autopilot walkthroughs and performance report on each

One cell.
The rule fits in a sentence, and everything else follows from it. The part most candidates get wrong is the target: you are not solving the grid, you are solving one cell. Only the question mark is guaranteed to have a single answer — some of the other empty cells are genuinely ambiguous. The five walkthroughs below play themselves, in the order you should learn them.
Fill the grid — see the rule
The teaching view. The autopilot does not stop at the question mark: it fills the whole grid, so you can watch every symbol land exactly once in each row and each column. The card counts the cells as it goes, and once the grid is complete it says that only one symbol is still missing from the ? — then answers.
Six minutes.
One number.
The test is not a knowledge check and not a pure speed drill. It measures whether you can take the constraints in front of you and reach the one answer they force — and whether you can keep doing that while the clock runs. The score is built from how many you get right, with a penalty that grows as accuracy falls.
The answer is forced, not guessed.
From the symbols already on the board there is exactly one that can sit in the question mark. You are not judging, estimating or recalling — you are eliminating.
Read the row. Read the column. Every time.
The habit is what is measured: two complete reads before the hand moves. Most wrong answers are a skipped scan, not a failed deduction.
Speeding up must not drop the scan.
There is no per-puzzle limit, so a stall costs only time. Past about forty-five seconds you have left your procedure — restart it rather than stare.
Minute six as careful as minute one.
Six minutes is short but dense. The report compares your first third with your last third; a large gap is stamina, not technique.
Let every session write your next study plan.
Every Deductive Logical Reasoning session you finish is broken down automatically. See more than the right–wrong ratio: where you slowed down, how your solve time moved across the session, and whether you held your accuracy as the levels got harder.
Solve time and pace
Every answer’s duration with a five-answer moving average, plus your median and fastest solve.
Accuracy and the four error types
Right–wrong ratio plus every mistake classified: row conflict, column conflict, both, or a multi-step chain error.
The ladder and endurance
How accuracy and timing shift between 4×4 and 5×5, which steps you reached, and whether your last third sags.
Progress, percentile and guidance
A progress chart across sessions, the consistency of your answer times, your percentile and a personalised study suggestion.

Wizz Air Pilot Academy guide →What is the deductive logical reasoning test in the Wizz Air Pilot Academy assessment?
It is the Aon test listed as "scales lst" in the assessment battery and named gapChallenge inside the product. You see a 4x4 or 5x5 grid of symbols in which every symbol appears exactly once in each row and each column, with exactly one cell holding a question mark. You pick the symbol that belongs in that cell from the strip under the grid. The session lasts six minutes and the number of puzzles is not capped.
Who is this module for?
Candidates preparing for the Wizz Air Pilot Academy selection process, and anyone who wants to practise Aon-style deductive logical reasoning under real time pressure. No prior knowledge is needed: the rule is a single sentence and the symbols carry no meaning.
Is the demo on this page the real module?
Yes. The player and the walkthroughs on this page load the same module you get after purchase, straight from hub.cadetpro.com. The walkthroughs run themselves so you can watch the method before you play; the free EASY and MEDIUM modes are open without buying anything.
Which devices does it work on?
Any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. Answering is a single tap or click on the answer strip, so a mouse is not required.
What is the difference between the four modes?
EASY (3 minutes) and MEDIUM (4 minutes) are free and give feedback while you play; they are for learning the rule and the interface. HARD (6 minutes, 5x5 only) trains multi-step chains. EXAM (6 minutes) removes all feedback and reproduces exam conditions — only completed EXAM sessions count towards your score, ranking and badges.
What do I get after purchase and for how long?
PRO access opens the HARD and EXAM modes and the eleven advanced sections of the performance report. Access runs for the period you choose — 30, 90 or 365 days — and renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel.
Is this an official Wizz Air or Aon product?
No. CADETPRO is an independent preparation platform and has no affiliation with, endorsement from or partnership with Wizz Air or Aon. The module reproduces the publicly described format of the test so you can practise it; it is not the assessment itself, and no result here guarantees any outcome in a real selection process.
